Registration
Applications will open in early November 2026. Details and the application form will be published on this page.
Places are limited (around 50 participants). The school package covers full-board stay at Big Sky from Monday 4 January noon to Friday 8 January noon (lodging, meals, and study days).
Two-step process
Registration will proceed in two stages:
- Application — fill in a short online form (background, motivation, room preference, Aiguille du Midi option, and whether you request a subsidised double room as a student).
- Decision & payment — you will receive an answer within about one week. If accepted, you will be invited to confirm your place and pay shortly afterwards.
Because capacity is limited, applying early is recommended once the form opens.
Approximate fees
Fees below are indicative and may still change slightly (e.g. service fees). They cover lodging and catering for the school week, with or without the optional Aiguille du Midi outing.
| Room type | Approximate fee |
|---|---|
| Single (without Aiguille du Midi) | ~€1,160 |
| Single (with Aiguille du Midi) | ~€1,230 |
| Double per person (without Aiguille du Midi) | ~€300 |
| Double per person (with Aiguille du Midi) | ~€370 |
Student subsidy: a limited number of double rooms are subsidised for students who request it in the application form (subject to eligibility and availability). Please indicate your student status when you apply.
Extra nights (e.g. Sunday before the school) are arranged and paid directly with the hotel, outside the school package.
Aiguille du Midi (optional social)
The optional Wednesday-morning social is a trip to the Aiguille du Midi: a cable-car ascent to more than 3,800 m of altitude.
It is each participant’s responsibility to decide whether they can safely go to this altitude. If you are unsure, ask your doctor before selecting this option. The school organisers cannot assess individual medical fitness for high altitude.
The application form link will appear here when registration opens.
